When developing a graphic representation of the subject of ‘katharsis’, I do not assume its solution in advance. The title I am applying to my prints is a deliberate intent – planned for an ambiguous interpretation. My search is always accompanied by the awareness that there is no unambiguous solution. Searching for inspiration, I find a subtle connection with the suprematist idea of new signs that allows expressing a direct feeling. I strive to cross the barrier of a substantial to create signs closer to intellectual expression. Thus, the title is not a presentation of a story corresponding to a given topic, it serves only to make the viewer experience the purification of similar feelings.
